Transport to Eastern Europe to learn how to make the famous beet soup, Borscht and the beloved Pelmeni Dumplings in a virtual cooking class you'll never forget

Close your eyes and imagine walking the streets of an ancient Eastern European village. It's chilly and you're looking to warm up with a hearty meal. Alas, you stumble across a local cafe and settle in....

A tour of delicious dumplings around the world wouldn't be complete without Pelmeni dumplings.  A likely theory suggests these perfect little meat pockets originated in Siberia as an adaptation of the Chinese Jiaozi, from where they gradually spread as far as Eastern Europe.  Most closely associated with Russian cuisine, these little pockets of dough are stuffed with savory filling, boiled until plump and then topped with butter, dill and of course a dollop of sour cream.

But not to be outdone is the famous Borscht. Brilliant red beetroot simmering away with cabbage and root vegetables come together resulting in a hearty and nourishing soup you'll crave on both warm and cool days. This class will warm your soul as much as your stomach.

Great time with Chef Agnes learning how to cook traditional Hungarian goulash and apple strudel. Great anniversary present for us. Give it a try, you’ll enjoy the time and have some great recipes to keep afterwards!

We booked this as a gift for family's Hungarian heritage and really enjoyed our time with Chef Agnes! The company made us feel very prepared with excellent communication to help us get comfortable with this new experience! The food was delicious, great Goulash and Walnut Strudel! Chef Aggie was very easy to work with, easy to see and hear, and she shared a lot of cultural knowledge about Hungary and its food. Would recommend this to any level cook interested in a cultural… See More

My wife and I just completed a Hungarian cooking class and LOVED it! From the point of purchase to the final taste test of the dish we made with Chef Aggie, the experience was top notch. The Kitchen Assistant was so nice and accessible, and ensured that we were ready in advance of the actual cooking session. She helped us located hard-to-find spices in our hometown and checked in before and after. I can't recommend this enough - we hope to take another class down the road!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband who is an avid cook! He chose Chef Agnes from Hungary! We had a wonderful experience. Agnes is warm individual and great teacher. Throughout our session she shared stories and history. It was truly much more than a cooking lesson! We shared our creations with friends with a Zoom Dinner Party later that night!!!
